A Welcome Message from Father Vrazel

Thank you for your interest in the Legion of Mary and in the local Immaculate Conception Curia of Mobile, Alabama. I invite  you to look around our website and get a feel for what the Legion of Mary is all about.

Legionaries dedicate their lives—even their whole being—in the service of Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary. Numerous parishes in the greater Mobile area have a Legion of Mary praesidium. The praesidium is the parish unit of legionaries which works under the direction of the pastor to bring Our Lady’s presence and message of humility to all. This is primarily rooted in the common commitment to prayer, especially the daily recitation of the rosary and the Legion Tessera, as well as the weekly Legion meeting. Legionaries also undertake apostolic works in accord with the direction of the pastor.

I think you will find that the Legion of Mary is a powerful instrument in the hand of God for the salvation of souls. Perhaps Our Lady is calling you to be a part of this ministry.
